    Default Updated Walmart Coupon Policy

Some interesting changes! Among the coupons they accept, "Checkout coupons
    * (also called "Catalinas") that are printed at our competitors' registers, have "Manufacturer Coupon" with specific requirements printed on them, a valid remit address for the manufacturer, valid expiration date, and a scannable bar code.

Under their guidelines and limitations, "Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase."!!

You may want to print this out and carry it with your coupons. I have found that, very often, cashiers and sometimes even store managers are not aware of the exact terms of their coupon acceptance policy.

I LOVE this new policy!! And my WalMart honored it too. I bought two bags of Doritos and had a coupon that gave me a Pepsi Max 2 liter free. The soda was on sale for $1.25. The coupon was good up to $2.09. They gave me the whole $2.09 off!! I love that!! They did it with Gain dish soap too. $.97 each and I had a coupon for $1. Gotta love making money buying stuff or at least helping cover the tax!

I still suggest you always carry a copy of the policy with you just in case. I have had to refer to it (and at other stores too) several times. I like to go armed when I shop. LOL!!

I am going to put this policy to the test if I can find a Wal Mart that has the Shick disposable razors 10+2 packs for $1.97. I have a $6.00 coupon for two packs of disposable razors and that would give me over a $2.00 overage.

Welcome to the forum joeysmemaw. Hope you have fun and find some great freebies and coupon savings here.

Wow! That'll be a nice overage. I'd make sure to have a copy of the new policy with me. Walmart isn't always the best about letting cashiers know about coupon acceptance policy changes. I'm not sure if I have that coupon. I've had a lot going on lately and my coupons are a mess! I definitely have to check. Let us know how it goes.
