I swear---people are gonna make it where no one will accept printed coupons
We give little when we give of our possessions. It is when we give of ourselves that we can truly touch another person??™s life. [Anonymous]
Krogers recently changed their corporate coupon policy directly because of the episode of Extreme Couponing that had their store in it. If you haven't read it you really should. It's very strict now and could lead to some confusion for some. But it's all because of people who abuse the system. Sad thing is it happened for them on tv!!
This isn't the complete policy but here is part of it!
Kroger's coupon policy is as follows:
Double Coupons:
Manufacturer coupons $.50 or less will be “Doubled” when a Plus Card is used.
Manufacturer coupons $.51 or greater will be redeemed at face value.
This does not apply to “Free”, Kroger, Catalina, Retail Food Store coupons, Electronic Coupons on the Kroger Plus Card or items prohibited by law.
Pharmacy Coupons:
We do accept competitor coupons.
General Coupon Policy:
The store manager has the right to accept, decline, or limit the use of any coupon upon view.
The store manager has the right to limit the Quantity of coupons/items used/purchased in a single transaction, by a single customer, or in a single day
We do not accept expired manufacturer coupons.
Limit One (1) manufacturer coupon per item.
Amount refunded cannot exceed the price of the item.
We do accept Internet coupons, providing the following is true:
The coupon is not for a free product or for more than 75% off the original cost – we do not accept those from the Internet.
The coupon scans properly at the register. If the registers do not register, it is most likely not a valid coupon.
The coupon is not altered in any way.
We only accept two (2) Internet coupons per manufacturer, per product, per visit, per day.
The things I put in bold are major changes for them. The one that could get really messy and is very subject to interpretation is the limit of 2 internet coupons per manufacturer, per product, per day. This could be widely interpreted by store mangers and according tot the rest of the policy what they say in each individual store goes.
It really stinks that one or two people can really mess up things for the rest of us!!
I was so pissed-of course she snatched the coups back
Smith's (1/2 the stores are Kroger) is always tough about coups here-I had (3) $1 off 3 Gatorade & they only let me use 2
