We have issued a voluntary recall in the United States of 12-ounce clear glass bottles of Corona Extra because they may contain small particles of glass. We realized the problem after routine inspections for quality control and have been working hard to investigate this issue to ensure it does not happen again.
I am writing to tell you that we have determined that some consumers may have affected product that was not identified in an original list of product codes. If you previously checked codes on Corona Extra in your possession, I ask that you please check again to confirm whether you have potentially affected product.
If you have any product with the following codes, please do not drink it. Instead, call our consumer service center at 1-866-204-9407. Affected codes are:

  • Any code that starts with “G” and also ends with “9” on six- and 12-packs
  • Any code that starts with “F29” and also ends with “9” on 18-packs only
  • Any code that starts with “F30” and also ends with “9” on 18-packs only

We are disappointed we fell short of your high expectations and our own. Our primary concern remains protecting the safety and well-being of our customers.
