Additional Comments:
To enter, write an essay of 500 words or less describing why your military hero should win the grand prize. To be eligible for the grand prize, you must be an active US Armed Forces member, or have been honorably discharged from the US military. Otherwise, you can win $500 for nominating someone who is in the military to receive the prize. You may also include pictures, sketches, or other material to support your essay.
Entries will be judged on the basis of eloquence of writing style and relevance to the topic (supplemental materials will be used to give added weight the essay), and overall quality.
