9/11 will forever be imprinted in my memory ~

I had just Dropped off my daughter, Charisse (AKA Niki) at Middle School and dropped off my son Ethan off at High School. I had just got home and turned PBS on for my daughter Charissa (AKA Rissa). I was in the kitchen doing dishes and getting ready to make home made bread when I heard the words, "Breaking News ~ The Twin Towers have been hit". I watched every thing on TV for the rest of the day, in disbelief.

I had recently purchased some uncut rubies on Ebay from a man who lived in New York City and owned a mine in Afganistan. I sent him an email to make sure he was ok. I did not hear from him for about a week or so. When I did get his reply, he had had a heart attack on that day.
