Describe why you have one of the ugliest rooms in America to Sears' Ugliest Room Makeover Contest for your chance to win one of three room makeovers. Sears will also donate $1,000 to each of the winners' favorite charities.

To enter, submit an essay pf 100 words or less on why you are in need of a room makeover plus a digital photograph of the room described in the essay.
50 finalists will be chosen on the basis of Originality of the Essay (40%), Depiction of the room in the photograph and how appropriate it is in connection with the Essay (50%), and Grammar (10%). The winners will be chosen from among the finalists by public vote.
