To enter, submit an essay of 100 words or less describing why you or someone you know should be Scotch Brand's Most Gifted Wrapper, along with the nominee's best tip for gift wrapping in 30 words or less. See rules for details.
Both professional and amateur gift wrappers are eligible to enter this contest. You are considered an amateur gift wrapper if you were never paid for gift wrapping. This means that if you wrapped gifts for your job, but it wasn't your primary responsibility, or if you wrapped gifts as a volunteer but didn't receive money for it, you are still considered an amateur.
You're considered a professional gift wrapper if you have ever been paid to wrap gifts, even if you are not currently working in that field.
4 professional and 4 amateur gift wrappers will be chosen as finalists on the basis of persuasiveness of the recommendation and candidate's experience and creativity in wrapping gifts.
Finalists will be sent a video camera, which they should use to create a 3-minute video showing his or her favorite gift-wrapping techniques, and will receive a trip to New York City on or about Friday, December 3, 2010 for a wrap-off.
