If your family has a much-loved recipe that has been passed down through the generations and which includes Smucker's products, enter the Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest for your chance to win a family reunion worth $21,000 or runners-up prizes of Smucker's gift baskets.

Additional Comments:
To enter, submit your family's original recipe made with at least 1/4 cup of one of Smucker's jam, jelly, preserves, fruit spread, or fruit butter that must have been passed down for at least two generations along with an essay of 200 words or less describing the history of the recipe and the names of the family members from the generations involved in passing the recipe down and their relationship to you. See rules for additional guidelines.
Entries will be judged on the basis of relevance to theme, creative expression, and clarity to pick 15 - 20 recipes as finalists. The finalist recipes will then be prepared and judged on the basis of taste (1-50 points), creativity (1-15 points), ease of preparation (1-15 points), appearance (1-10 points), and nutritional balance (1-10 points). The top recipes' essays will also be judged on the basis of relevance to theme (1-10 points), creative expression (1-10 points), and clarity (1-10 points).
