Description:
Record your take on Folgers' jingle, "The Best Part of Waking Up is Folgers in Your Cup," and you could win $25,000 cash and the chance to have your jingle used in a commercial in The Best Part of Waking Up Jingle Contest 2011.

Eligibility:
US residents who are amateur musicians, 18+

Start Date:
January 18, 2011

End Date:
March 01, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. ET

Entry Frequency:
Limit of five entries per person.

Sweepstakes Prizes:
Grand Prize: $25,000 and a chance to have a mentoring session with a music professional, and the chance to appear in a future Folgers coffee commercial. (ARV: $25,000)

Finalist Prizes (5): A trip for up to 4 contestants participating in the the video to New York City, NY to compete in the Live Grand Prize Audition on or about 06/08/11. The trip includes airfare, hotel, ground transportation, and $5,000 cash. (ARV: $11,800)

Additional Comments:
To enter, upload a video of 60 - 90 seconds in length of yourself (and your team, if applicable) performing the Folgers jingle, which must include the melody and lyrics of "The Best Part of Wakin' Up is Folgers in Your Cup," as provided in the toolkit on the Contest website. Up to 4 people can sing in the video.
Judges will select 25 semi-finalists on the basis of Creativity/Originality (0-40 points), Musical performance (0-40 points), and Adherence to creative assignment (0-20 points).

10 semi-finalists will be chosen on the basis of Creativity/Originality (0-40 points), Musical performance (0-40 points), and Adherence to creative assignment (0-20 points).

The semi-finalists' entries will be put up for public vote. and will receive a number of points depending on how well their entries do in the vote. Five finalists will be chosen on the basis of scoring and public vote.

The finalists will receive a trip to New York for a live audition to determine the winner.
