Spruce Up Your Space Photo Contest
Official Rules

PRIZES (4) (ONE (1) PER CATEGORY): A $3,000 World Market gift card, which may be used to purchase items to update the room featured in the winning Entry. Approximate Retail Value (???ARV???) is $3,000 each. Gift card is subject to certain terms and conditions specified by Cost Plus World Market. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize or redeem prize for cash, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize with one of comparable or greater value. Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. Total ARV of all prizes: $12,000. All prize details are at Sponsor??™s sole discretion.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia (excluding residents of Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories and possessions), 18 years of age or older. Employees of Cost Plus World Market, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, promotion and advertising agencies, and members of their immediate family (spouse and parent, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such employees, are not eligible to enter or win.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, take a photo of an outdated room in your house that needs a makeover to bring it up to date (collectively, with entry form, the ???Entry???). The photo must be taken in the last 12 months, represent the room truthfully, and feature one (1) room in one (1) of the following categories: (1) Bedroom; (2) Living Room/Family Room; (3) Home Office/Den; or (4) Dining Room (each, a ???Category???) to be considered. Any Entry that includes a photo that does not feature an outdated room and fall under one of the Categories will be void. To enter the Contest, visit www.facebook.com/worldmarket (???Website???) and follow the directions provided to complete the entry form and upload your photo, and submit. Photos must be in .png, .jpg or .gif format with a maximum size of 2,000 x 2,000 pixels no larger than 3MB. All Entries must be received by March 16, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. to be considered. Only one (1) room in one (1) Category may be featured in each Entry. Any Entry that features more than one (1) room in any Category will be void. Limit one (1) Entry per person, per Facebook account and per email address, regardless of Category. Entries received from any person, Facebook account or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. You may only use one (1) email address and one (1) Facebook account to enter this Contest. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means and Entries by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All Entries become the sole property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

REQUIREMENTS OF ENTRIES: The Entry must depict only the room without any individual. Further, Entry may not contain, as determined by the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, any content that:
??? is sexually explicit or suggestive; violent, derogatory or profane;
??? promotes alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing); promotes any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous; promotes any particular political agenda or message;
??? is obscene or offensive; endorses any form of hate or hate group;
??? appears to duplicate any other Entries;
??? contains trademarks, logos, or trade dress (such as distinctive packaging or building exteriors/interiors) owned by others;
??? contains any personal identification, such as personal names;
??? contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings, and other works of art, or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media);
??? contains materials embodying the names, likenesses, or other indicia identifying any person, including, without limitation, celebrities and/or other public or private figures, living or dead;
??? communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or good will to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and/or
??? violates any law.

Entry must be the original work of the entrant, may not have been previously published, may not have won previous awards, and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. By submitting an Entry, entrant warrants and represents that he/she consents to the submission and use of the Entry in the Contest and to its use as otherwise set forth herein.

The Spruce Up Your Space Photo Contest (the ???Contest???) starts on February 16, 2011 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (???ET???) and ends on March 16, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. ET (???Contest Period???).

WINNER DETERMINATION: All eligible Entries received by Sponsor will be separated by Category and featured at www.facebook.com/worldmarket between February 16, 2011 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (???ET???) and March 16, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. ET are eligible for voting. During the Voting Period, individuals ???vote??? for their favorite Entry in each Category. One (1) ???vote??? will count as one (1) vote. Limit one (1) vote per person, per Facebook account, and per photo in each Category during the Voting Period. Votes received from any person or Facebook account in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Entrants are prohibited from obtaining votes by any fraudulent or inappropriate means, including, without limitation, offering prizes or other inducements to members of the public, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, the Entry in each Category that receives the highest number of valid votes in that Category, as determined by Sponsor, will be deemed the ???Grand Prize winner??? for the applicable Category. In the event of a tie in any Category, a ???tie-breaking??? judge will determine the Grand Prize winner based on the following criteria: Adherence to Theme (25%); Persuasiveness of Photo Regarding why the Room Should be Updated (25%); Creativity (25%); and Originality (25%). Use of script, macro or any automated system to vote or with the intent to impair the integrity of the voting process is prohibited and all such votes will be void.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winners will be notified by telephone, mail and/or email and will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law) and any other documents required by Sponsor, which must be returned within 2 days of date appearing on prize notification. Return of prize or prize notification as undeliverable, failure to sign and return requested documentation within the specified time period, the inability of Sponsor to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period or noncompliance with these Official Rules by a potential winner will result in disqualification and, at Sponsor??™s sole discretion, the prize may be awarded to a runner-up for the Category at issue. If any potential winner is at least 18 but still considered a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein.

OWNERSHIP/USE OF ENTRIES: By submitting an Entry, each entrant agrees Sponsor shall own the Entry submitted (including all rights embodied therein) and that it and its designees may exploit, edit, modify, and distribute the Entry and all elements of such Entry in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity without compensation, permission or notification to entrant or any third party.
