Enter your best burger recipe into Stanford's Ultimate Burger Showdown Contest for your chance to win a $2,500 cash prize and $1,200 in Stanford's gift cards or other prizes.

Sweepstakes Prizes:
Grand Prize: A $2,500 cash prize and a $100 Stanford's Gift Card issued each month for twelve months. The burger will also be featured on Stanford's menu as part of a limited time offer.
2nd Prize: A cash prize of $1,500 and six $100 Stanford's Gift Cards issued one per month for six months. The burger will also be featured on Stanford's menu as part of a limited time offer.
3rd Prize: A cash prize of $1000 and three $100 (one hundred dollars) Stanford's Gift Cards that will be issued one per month for three months.
Unplaced finalist Prizes (7): A $100 Stanford's Gift Card. (ARV: $100)
Finalist Prizes (10): A night in a Portland, Oregon hotel located near the Event. If the winner lives outside the Portland area, travel expenses, including airfare for California residents and a gas stipend for Washington residents, will also be provided.

To enter, submit your best burger recipe "which uses grilled patties (formed from ground beef, ground bison, ground lamb or ground poultry) served on buns or other bread products." You can include "any combination of condiments (such as mustard, salsa and ketchup), spreads (such as pesto or hummus), sauces (such as hot sauce or barbeque), cheeses, and toppings (such as bacon, pineapple, lettuce and tomato)."
10 finalists will be selected by the sponsor to compete in Stanford's Ultimate Burger Showdown in Portland, Oregon on Saturday, April 30, 2011. You must be able to travel on this date to win.
The following judging criteria will be used to select the finalists and the winners: Creativity, Taste, Visual Appeal, and Operational Viability.
