Submit your best recipe that uses Martha White cornbread and is cooked in Lodge Cast Iron cookware into the National Cornbread Cook-Off 2011 Recipe Contest for your chance to win a $9,000 prize including $5,000 cash, a gas range and more, or other prizes.

2nd Prize: $1,500 cash and special gifts from Lodge Cast Iron and Martha White. (ARV: $1,550)
3rd Prize: $1,000 cash and special gifts from Lodge Cast Iron and Martha White. (ARV: $1,050)

Additional Comments:
To enter, submit original, main-dish recipes that use at least one package of Martha White cornbread, and which are cooked in Lodge Cast Iron cookware. You can enter by mail, email, or internet. See rules for additional details.
Entries will be judged on the basis of likely taste, creativity, ease of preparation and appropriate use of the products to select 15 - 20 semi-finalists. The semi-finalist recipes will then be prepared and judged on the basis of taste (up to 30 points), creativity (up to 30 points), appropriate use of product (up to 15 points), ease of preparation (up to 15 points), and visual appeal (up to 10 points) to select 10 finalists.
Each finalist will participate in the National Cornbread Cook-Off in South Pittsburg, TN on April 28, 2012 to determine the winners. Airfare and lodging will not be covered, but each finalist will receive a $500 stipend to defray travel costs.
