Teachers, have your students submit essays about the questions they'd like to ask presidential candidates and you could win one of six cash prizes of $5,000 or $1,000 in McGraw-Hill Networks' Enter the Debate Contest.
Eligibility:
US residents who are teachers of students in grades 6 - 12, above the age of majority

Entry Frequency:
Limit of one entry per student, but you can submit essays for an unlimited number of students.

To enter, have your students write an essay in 250 words or less describing what question the student would ask President Obama and Governor Romney a question during the presidential debates and why that question is important to our country. See rules for additional details.
Entries will be judged on the basis of The extent to which the Essay content demonstrates understanding of current affairs, citizenship, and social studies concepts (40%), Persuasiveness of the Essay (40%), and the Essay's grammar, spelling, and mechanics (20%).
