Prize: One (1) winner will be awarded for the winner and one (1) guest: round trip economy class airfare to either Melbourne or Sydney, Australia (as determined solely by the sponsor) from one of the following three airports: Los Angeles, New York City, or Dallas/Fort Worth; hotel accommodations for six (6) nights; transportation voucher for use within Australia. If the winner does not accept the prize and/or return all required documentation and signatures within twenty-four (24) hours following the date and time the prize is awarded, then that winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected.
The flights to Australia depart from the Los Angeles, New York City, and Dallas/Fort Worth airports. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to coordinate, at the winner’s sole cost, travel to one of these airports for the flight to Australia.
The potential contest winner will be chosen as follows: a judging panel chosen at the sole discretion of the sponsor will select approximately five (5) essays for final voting using the following judging criteria: (i) creativity (33 1/3%); (ii) originality (33 1/3%); and (iii) appropriateness to the theme of why you deserve to win the trip of a lifetime (33 1/3%). The essay receiving the most votes by the judges will receive the prize. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the contestant whose photo/essay is considered more creative as determined by the judges.
The prize expires on November 30, 2013.
