Finally finished a model that I found in the house. Work on and off on it for about 3 years. It's a Roman Bireme Imperator. This is the type of ship that Charlton Heston was a slave on in the movie "Ben Hur". This ship was such a successful design that it was in production for 500 years. Crew consisted of 52 oarsmen (or slaves), the captain, officers and 30 Legionnaires.
