Sweepstakes Prizes:
Grand Prize: A $10,000 scholarship and an opportunity to appear on a cover of Seventeen. (ARV: $10,000)
Finalist Prizes (5): A trip for two to New York City, Los Angeles, or another location including airfare, a four-night hotel stay, a media event, and participation in a photo shoot. (ARV: $4,750)
Additional Comments:
To enter, submit an essay of 1,000 characters or less describing why you are "pretty amazing" along with two photographs of yourself, taken within the past six months.
Semi-finalists will be chosen on the basis of appearance (50%) and passion (50%).
A selection of judges including the Editor in Chief of Seventeen, a Neutrogena brand ambassador, Carly Rae Jespen, and more will select five finalists on the same basis.
The finalists will be flown to LA, NYC, or another location for a photo shoot, interviews, etc. and the entries will be put up for public vote.
The grand-prize winner will be selected from among the finalists on the basis of photo shoot success (50%), passion (40%), and number of votes garnered through online voting process (10%).
