Any Member's out there have C.O.P.D. ???

I am 52 and I am in stage 4 with C.O.P.D. I have had it for 7 years, and it is not fun. I was just wondering if any of you have it & how you cope??

So sorry to hear that,that's tough. (I was an RN before I got sick)
I have Lupus,Myositis,Sjogren's Syndrome,Connective Tissue Disease, & just recently had 2 back surgeries d/t 3 extruded discs & spinal stenosis.(they dance around Fibromyalgia too,whatever)
With all our members,I'm sure someone can help...

My husband has C.O.P.D., diagnosed about 5 years ago. We live in Florida and the humidity makes it even worse. He stays inside in the air-conditioning, uses an Advair inhaler, and also uses a Nebulizer 4 times a day. He has had to cut down on physical activities and quit smoking. It is hard, but as long as he doesn't smoke and takes his meds all the time he does ok. I wish I had some better advice for you, but I wish you all the best.
