You no longer need to sacrifice flavor for healthfulness. There are many easy changes and substitutions you can make to your existing recipes that reduce the fat and calorie content without compromising taste. Potato recipes are the easiest to rescue – potatoes are naturally good for you and versatile enough to be combined with almost any flavor or food.
Simply submit your favorite not-so-healthy Idaho® potato recipes by December 15th (click here for contest rules). A registered dietitian will review the submissions and identify five that are in the greatest need of a rescue. The recipes will be revised to include healthier ingredients that don’t compromise the taste.
Five (5) grocery store gift cards and five (5) boxes of fresh Idaho potatoes will be awarded to five (5) different winners.
