Today, Microsoft announced that starting in June both Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners will no longer need an Xbox LIVE Gold Membership in order to use streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO Go, and more. However, select services will still require an Xbox Live Gold membership such as the Games for Gold program, game DVR functionality, and cloud-based game saves.
