One (1) prize will be awarded as described in this Section (the “Prize”). The Prize consists of an eight (8) day/seven (7) night prize package for the Winner and one (1) guest/travel companion that will include the following: i. Round trip coach air transportation to North Bay, Ontario, Canada for two (2) persons departing from and returning to the major city airport closest to the Winner’s residence. The Winner and his/her guest/travel companion must have the same airport of origin and destination and must travel together at all times; they are responsible for the cost of their transportation to and from their home(s) and the designated airport. The Prize must be redeemed in its entirety from July 15, 2016 through July 22, 2016. If the Winner is not able to travel during the specified time, he/she will forfeit the Prize and the Sponsor or the Administrator will award the Prize to an alternate entrant by conducting a random drawing from among all of the remaining eligible entries, subject to the skill-testing requirement for Canadian residents. ii. Escorted ground transportation from the North Bay Airport to the accommodations and attractions.
Seven (7) nights' accommodations for two (2) persons as follows:  One (1) nights' accommodation at the Holiday Inn Express in North Bay, Ontario. One standard guest room, double occupancy.  Three (3) nights' accommodation at Smoothwater Ecolodge.  Three (3) nights' wilderness camping excursion in Lady Evelyn Smoothwater Provincial Park. Camping gear will be provided, including two (2) two-person tents. iv. Guided Activities for two (2) persons including:  Temagami Canoe Festival, Temagami, Ontario.  Guided visit to Bear Island for an Aboriginal experience of First Nation ceremonies, story- telling and the history of Grey Owl.  Four (4) day guided fly in adventure into Lady Evelyn Smoothwater Provincial Park with Ray Mears and Smoothwater Outfitters, or such other person or persons as the Sponsor or the Administrator may designate.  Wilderness Travel instruction including paddle and bushcraft skills led by Ray Mears or such other person or persons as the Sponsor or the Administrator may designate.  Wildlife observation and tracking and navigation skills led by Ray Mears or such other person or persons as the Sponsor or the Administrator may designate. The following meals for the Winner and his/her guest/travel companion: seven (7) breakfasts, seven (7) lunches and seven (7) dinners. Taxes and gratuities on the meals are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included in the Prize. vi. Two (2) $500.00 CAD gift cards, redeemable at any Mountain Equipment Co-Op Store in Canada or for purchases made online. Gift cards are only redeemable for products or services at a Mountain Equipment Co-Op Store in Canada; they are not redeemable for cash. Gift cards will be given to the Winner prior to the trip and must be redeemed in advance of the trip. The approximate retail value of the Prize is $3,900.00 USD / $5,000.00 CAD
