Uber has rolled out its Flat Fee Package pricing structure to a handful of major cities. In essence, you'll pay a $10 activation fee which allows you take up to 20 UberPool rides for as low as $1.99 each or 20 UberX rides for as low as $3.99 each over a 30-day period. (You can also pay a $20 activation fee for up to 40 rides over 30 days.) It's significantly less than standard Uber fares; in fact, it approaches the cost of public transportation in some cities. Trips are available in eligible zones only and airports are excluded.
