Hi EVERYONE!! My name is Dawn from Whitewater, WI ~ I am a jack of all trades and master to none LOL ~ Lately I have been slacking on extreme freebie hunting due to working 2 full time jobs for the last 2+ years and now down to only my 3rd shift job because I have a 17 yr old with a 2 month old baby ~ He keeps grandma busy ~ I have 1 Polish White Hen, 1 Rhode Island Red Hen, 4 cats ages 16, 14, 1, and 11 months (she has 6 kittens aged 1 month) ~ Divorced after 23 years of headaches and with current BF for about 7 (more headaches) ~ I do admin on another site that also includes PSP (I don't) but it isn't doing well at all, just keep trying to do stuff for the fun of it and hopfully get somewhere with it ~ My kids are 30, 28, 17, and had one die of SIDS who would have been 27 and all birthdays in December

Well, I hope everyone is doing well. I used to play a bit of golf when I was working, but now retired, I am just tearing up the Links (...and I mean Tearing them up...grass divot's wise).

I have a theory that the Good Lord invented Golf since so many of us duffers find it almost impossible to get it in the hole via par, and the archangels are the one's who decided on what 'Par' is for each and every hole.

Well, that's all for now, but as I said before, get out, keep busy, do a good deed on occasion, say 'Hiya' to everyone you meet, and have a smile on your face, even if your day is not going as well as expected. A smile helps wash away depression, and make others wonder...what in the name of (you know who) is that man or woman up to?

Hi. I'm a retired nurse. I have 2 grown kids - son and daughter - and am blessed with a beautiful granddaughter and handsome grandson with #3 coming in January.

Ok all-haven't really updated myself for awhile,so here goes !

YAY-2 yrs w/out a surgery !!! (9 in 4 yrs is enough,ya think ?!?)Seem to be doing ok,defied the odds & I'm still walking.(had a 25% chance of not)For those who don't know,I was diagnosed w/ Lupus,Dermatomyositis,Sjogren's Syndrome,blah,blah,blah when I was 40,& past 5 &1/2 yrs it kicked my ass & disintegrated my spine.(a sternal cage,2 rods & 4 screws in back,a plate & 3 screws in my neck.)Other stuff too,but you can see past posts.

Still at Walgreens -13+ yrs ! I order all the candy,so from now til end of yr,I have my work cut out for me.I did switch stores 10 mos ago,my old store closes at midnight now.Love my overnights-have a lot of customers that followed me-& nights work good for working here.I have weekends off & so does my honey.(that's the next topic)

I know I've kept this a secret,but after 25 yrs,I finally left my hubby almost a yr ago.Honestly,if it wasn't for my surgeries,it would've been yrs ago.My boys are all grown & it's time for me to be happy.I'm not saying I'm perfect,but in these last 8 yrs,he has changed into a person I don't know or like.Then once my surgeries,the verbal & emotional abuse started,& I deserve better.I'm a very positive person & just ignored the BS & kept doing what I was doing,thinking maybe this was a phase or something...I dunno. Not gonna bore you all,so here's my happy ending.
One morning 6 mos ago, about 5,this good looking guy in a baby blue polo walks in & all I could think was WOW what a hottie.When he came up to the counter,I was totally tongue tied (me?!?) & he asked me when I started at Walgreens & then said,well I'll be stopping in more often & left.Next morning he came in & asked me if I could take a break & asked me out cuz he didn't see a ring.(very politely too I must add) The rest is history & now we live together.We are both so incredibly happy & as corny as it sounds,makes me believe in soulmates.I'm like a teenager in love -my coworkers tease me,& yes he comes to see me every morning I work. Greg is such a great guy-too bad I didn't meet him yrs ago.

I've been reading the jokes for quite a while. Then scrolled farther down and found "freebies" and "sweepstakes". Now here I find if I don't post I may be deleted as a member. So I am posting. Still not computer savvy so may not be able to find my post after I submit.
We had someone here to fix whatever was happening between our new phone system and laptop and printer. When he got here we told him we'd had our grandson try to fix it and he couldn't. The guy said, "Well, if your grandson couldn't fix it, I probably can't either." Guess what. He couldn't.

I've been reading the jokes for quite a while. Then scrolled farther down and found "freebies" and "sweepstakes". Now here I find if I don't post I may be deleted as a member. So I am posting. Still not computer savvy so may not be able to find my post after I submit.
We had someone here to fix whatever was happening between our new phone system and laptop and printer. When he got here we told him we'd had our grandson try to fix it and he couldn't. The guy said, "Well, if your grandson couldn't fix it, I probably can't either." Guess what. He couldn't.

Sorry to hear you aren't getting alot that you sign up for.
Some possible reasons:

you put a phony phone number or email address
some require you to respond to an email to confirm you requested it (check your junk folder)
some only allow a limited number
some only allow a limited number daily
if you requested multiple times for same product from that site

* I live in Austin, Texas.
* It's already hot here, though we haven't even hit July yet.
* I survived the freak snowstorm we had in February and the subsequent four days without power that made me realize how much I like having electricity.
* Did I mention that we are nearing triple-digit weather here now? It's not nearly as bad as some other parts of the US right now, but there is speculation (directly from the state electrical power institution itself) that our state power grid may not be able to handle the demand if we all run our AC too much.
* Did I mention how much I like having electricity?
