Sweepstakes Prizes:
Grand Prize: Papa John's Pizza for life in the form of a $480 Papa John's Gift Card mailed on the first day of September each year for up to 50 years during the lifetime of the winner as well as a Slice of the Sales in the form of 1% of the winner's specialty pizza net sales, up to a maximum of $10,000. The winner will also receive a trip to Louisville, Kentucky including airfare, hotel, and a promotional appearance. (ARV: $35,500)
Finalist Prizes (3): A trip to Louisville, Kentucky including airfare, hotel, and $1,000 in cash to promote their pizza. (ARV: $2,500)
Semi-Finalist Prizes (10 - 15): Papa John's Pizza for a year in the form of a $480 Papa John's Gift Card. (ARV: $480)
Additional Comments:
To enter, submit a pizza recipe including crust choice, sauce choice, cheese choice, and up to 7 toppings, plus a creative, descriptive, and interesting name for the pizza and the story behind how or why it was created or why you think it qualifies as the next great specialty pizza.
Judges will select up to 15 semi-finalists on the basis of Overall appeal, Taste of the final product, Creativity of the name, and Interest of the story.
The judges will then select 3 finalists from the semi-finalists, whose pizzas will be offered at Papa John's from August 2 - August 29. The pizza that gets the most orders will win.
