Apple announced that its latest operating system, OS X 10.9 Mavericks, will be available as a free download from the Mac App Store starting today. This latest version of OS X includes more than 200 new features, including updates to Finder, Maps, Calendar, iBooks, and Notifications. It also features improvements on battery life and multiple display support.
