Anyone who was designated as a Finalist in a previous Duck® Brand Duct Tape Stuck at Prom® Scholarship Contest is not eligible to participate in this Contest.

Each Entrant must create and wear to a prom: prom attire consisting of either a complete dress or a complete tuxedo and accessories made using Duck brand duct tape and/or Duck® brand crafting tape. Other materials, in addition to Duck brand duct tape, may be used or incorporated into the design. Entrants must submit at least one photo of the Entrant showing the Entrant wearing Duck Tape® Prom Attire; the location of the photograph is at the discretion of the Entrant. The Duck Tape® Prom Attire: (i) must be an original creation, (ii) may not have previously won any award or Contest, or (iii) may not copy, incorporate or be based on the work of a third party. Any entry as such is subject to disqualification at the discretion of Sponsor. Assistance from family and/or friends is permitted in creating the Prom attire; however, paid professionals cannot participate in any way.

Once the Entrant accesses the entry form, the Entrant will be asked to submit the following: at least one, but up to five, high-resolution (300 DPI) color photographs (professional or amateur) of the Entrant in Duck Tape® Prom Attire, personal information, written details about their outfit as requested on the entry form, or upload a video showing the requested details about their outfit in accordance with the instructions on the entry form, and photographer release form if the photo submission is professional (to be obtained from the photographer and uploaded with entry)

Each entry will be scored by a panel of judges from June 4, 2019 through June 18, 2019 and the top-scoring entries will move on to Community Voting which will run from 12:00:00 PM EDT on June 18, 2019 through 11:59:59 PM EDT on June 28, 2019. After the end of the Community Voting Period, Sponsor will determine and validate the final winners of the Contest. The final winners will be announced on or about July 9, 2019.

Judging Criteria: Workmanship – 20%; Originality – 20%; Use of colors- 20%; Accessories – 20%; Use of Duck® Brand Duct Tape – 20%.

First Place Prize – Dress Category (1): $10,000 Cash Scholarship will be awarded to the winning Finalist in the Dress Category.

First Place Prize – Tux Category (1): $10,000 Cash Scholarship will be awarded to the winning Finalist in the Tux Category

Runner-up Prize (8): $500 Cash Scholarship and Duck Brand Prize Packs. ARV: $600

Official Rules: US, Canada, Void AZ, CO, MD, TN, VT, QC, 14+. April 1 – June 3, 2019. One entry per person.
