Americans have a torturous relationship with lip-smacking, scrumptious burgers from the century. They could not resist a good succulent burger if the patty is grilled perfectly on the charcoal grills. If you are a burger master, it’s time to create your original spin on a blended burger with finely chopped, fresh mushrooms at home for a chance to win $10,000! This summer, the Mushroom Council and Food Network have been partnered to encourage people to enter their own delicious blended burger recipe in the "Blended Burger Recipe Contest" for a chance to win big. This winning opportunity is open for both home cooks and professionals, so never miss your chance to present your culinary skills.

Limit: The age requirement to enter the Contest is at least 21 years. Only one entry per person is allowed for Contest.

How to Participate in Food Network Blended Burger Contest:
Make a custom-blended burger recipe at home with required ingredients including mushrooms, which must comprise no less than 25% of the burger patty. After that, visit www.foodnetwork.com/blendedburgercontest and complete the entry form selecting the Home Cook or Professional Cooks category and submit a submission including up to 500 words of recipe description and a photo of the completed dish.

Food Network Burger Recipe Contest Submission Requirement:
An original burger recipe for four servings that includes the required ingredients
A description of how the Entrant prepared the dish (including measurements and instructions) of no more than 500 words
A photo of the completed dish
Food Network Blended Burger Contest Winner Selection:
After the conclusion of the promotion period, a panel of judges will evaluate all submissions and select two prize winners – one from the home cooks category and one from a professional category on the basis of the following judging criteria: (a) 25% based on flavor profile; (b) 25% based on originality; (c) 25% based on crowd appeal, and (d) 25% based on presentation.

The prize winners will be notified by email, telephone, and/or overnight mail. The winner must sign an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity release within five days of issuance of prize notification in order to claim the prize.

Food Network Burger Recipe Contest Prizes:
Two grand prize winners will each receive $10000 cash in form of a check.
