Calling All Egg-cellent Family Recipes! Submit your recipe by May 3, 2020 for a chance to win the $10,000 Grand Prize! Eggland’s Best “America’s Best Family Recipe” Contest 2020 is searching for the most passionate Eggland’s Best egg fan with the best and most creative family recipe. From a family favorite dinner to a brunch recipe set to impress, fans from each state across the country are invited to share what makes their recipe the “Best Family Recipe” using the only egg that provides better taste, better nutrition and better quality.

Note: All recipes must use at least two Eggland’s Best eggs. All recipes must be original recipes.

Official Rules: US, 18+. February 18 – May 3, 2020 at 11:59 pm ET. Eight unique entries per person.

Recipe submission deadline/Entry Period ends May 3, 2020. Judging and Voting ends 11:59 PM ET December 1, 2020.

Grand Prize winners from any contest sponsored by Eggland’s Best, LLC. within the last two years are ineligible to enter or win this Contest. Semi-finalists from the 2018 Eggland’s Best “America’s Best Recipe” Contest are eligible to enter this Contest but may not submit the same recipe that was previously deemed a semi-finalist entry.

You may enter up to two recipes within each of the four main categories (breakfast/brunch, appetizer, main course, dessert) for a total of eight recipes per person and per email during the Entry Period.

You may select one bonus category per main category submission if applicable.

Sandwich: Bring your sandwich game to the next level by adding Eggland’s Best eggs! All recipes must include at least two Eggland’s Best eggs and be considered a sandwich — an item of food consisting of two pieces of bread or bread alternatives with eggs plus meat, cheese, or other fillings between them.

30 Minutes or Less: Short on time doesn’t mean short on flavor – especially when Eggland’s Best eggs are involved! All recipes must include at least two Eggland’s Best eggs and be prepared and completed within 30 minutes.

Gluten-Free: If you’re following a gluten-free diet and you have some exciting new twists, we want to hear it! All recipes must include at least two Eggland’s Best eggs and may not contain gluten.

Submission must include:

Recipe title
Prep time
Cook time
Number of servings
List of recipe ingredients with exact measurements
Preparation/cooking instructions
Brief description of what makes your submission the “Best Family Recipe” and why Eggland’s Best eggs are the only eggs good enough for your family.

Judging Criteria: All eligible Entries received during the Entry Period will be judged based on the following criteria to determine the top fifty-two Entries (one from each state and one each from the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico):

Inspiration behind why you believe your recipe is the best family recipe
Creativity (30%)
Demonstrated passion for the superior taste and nutrition of Eggland’s Best Eggs (30%)
Best in State winners (semi-finalists) announced on or around June 16, 2020 . Fans vote for their regional group favorites from June 16 to October 27 2020. Best in Region winners (finalists) announced on or around November 17, 2020. Fans vote for their favorite finalist recipe from November 17 to December 1, 2020. Grand Prize and Bonus Category winners announced on or around December 15, 2020

Grand Prize (1): $10,000 awarded in the form of a check, and a one-year supply of Eggland’s Best eggs (24 dozen) (awarded in the form of twenty-four certificates). ARV: $10,104.88

Best in Region Prize packages (4): $1,000 awarded in the form of a check, and a one-year supply of Eggland’s Best eggs (24 dozen) (awarded in the form of twenty-four certificates). ARV. $1,104.88

Best in State Prizes (47): A three-month supply of Eggland’s Best eggs (6 dozen) (awarded in the form of six certificates). ARV: $26.22

Bonus Category Prizes (3): $500 awarded in the form of a check. ARV: $500
