Apple announces new MacBook, from $1,299

Today, Apple announced its new Apple MacBook Laptop, with prices starting at $1,299. It's just 13.1mm thick (24% thinner than the MacBook Air) and weighs 2 lbs. It's available in silver, space gray, or gold, with the base model featuring a 12" 2304x1440 Retina display, Intel Core M 1.1GHz dual-core processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, 802.11ac wireless, and USB-C port. A $1,599 model steps up to a faster 1.2GHz CPU and 512GB SSD.
