Up and down all night again.. Fed Magaera around 5am. I was going to pay Billy for this month Rent and spaced it, again. Rissa brought Aurora and Robert over so we could go to Tina's because Robert wanted to see Flash and Zombie. He got to see the Chincoteague ponies that she has. I Know at least 1 of her ponies was born on the island and she has 2 that were not born on the island. Not sure what breed the other 3 are, He also had a field day because he got to pet cats and kittens and saw her rabbits and ducks. He got to see ducks and chickens wandering all around the yard. Diddy Duck finally got off her nest. She hatched 15 ducklings on Monday. Robert got to see those ducklings as well. We came home and I was going to transfer money from my PayPal cash to my checking account, only to find out Walmart took my money out of my PayPal cash not charge my online account. I was furious. It took me a few hours to figure it out. The A1 thing they use is useless. It just kept repeating itself and types way faster than I can read. Needless to say, once it was figured out, I transferred the last few dollars into my checking account. I also learned that you can not do an instant transfer to a checking account. Geesh. Lesson learned. They we ran to Walmart and got 2 - 30 packs of beer. I told Don that was the end of the end. We sat outside for a bit. I think I came in around 4pm to lay down for a little bit. My stomach was bothering me and my reflux was in high gear. Got up at 6:30 pm and Don was gone. He took the last of the ice and a bunch of beer. I sent him a nasty text, letting him know that he is a blank blank drunk and he could sleep on the couch. I ate 6 slices of Roast Beef lunch meat with a slice of American cheese and went back to bed. He came home around 11pm, smelling like a brewery, and crawled in bed. He said he was not going to sleep on the couch because it is his bed and flopped in. He did not bounce on the bed or ramble long. He was out like a light and of course up close to me so I was on the very edge of the bed. I have been awake for awhile and may have dozed off once because I had a really weird dream that I remember. Funny Don just got up and went to bathroom after "peeking" to see what I was drinking (Water).

I have a new job. I will be working for Bedrock HCS. I applied for part time pm cook and told them that I would have to look for another part time job to survive. They asked if I would like the Dietary Aide position as well. I took that too. I passed my background check and have orientation tonight and start training as an AM cook first. They are going to train me on many positions so I can get the most hours. A dietary aide makes alot less than a cook but I am getting a $1 more per hour for cook because of my food safety certifications. No one else in the kitchen has one. My number of weekly hours is not guaranteed but I have it figured if I make close to 30 hours a week I can make it. Don will have to get use to drinking less beer and we have to get rid of one of the storage sheds. The stuff is just sitting there and Padre has been dead now for a little over 3 years. No sense keeping it. There is one dresser that I want Emma to have and will probably bring it out here and use it until she has her own place. Her room is tiny. It might fit in there but it would be a tight fit and she would not have much room to walk to the bed. Hard to believe she starts High School this year.
We had a wicked storm with high winds Monday night and it knocked down a tree in front of the trailer. Glad Don and Juan decided to move vehicles. Juan put his on the other side of his trailer and Don put my Equinox behind our trailer. The trees are in bad shape around our trailers but Billy refuses to have any trees cut down. A couple of bird feeders were broken and a bird feeder stand. My cement bird bath was flipped upside down and only lost a small piece and it can be glued back on. I was also worried about my hydrengeas but they survived. I thought I would have to wait until next year for them to come back.

Really did not want to go to Britty & Oz's, last night, but we did. left late and I had to be to work early. Felt like crud but survived. Oz gave Don his dad's light fixture that was his Uncles (Tom Bigelow). They mounted the light stand on his racing helmet. Tom Bigelow ran many Indy races. Becky (his daughter) and I were in 6th grade and he was in a really bad accident at the Indy Track and they were not sure he would make it, but Tom did. It is really cool looking.

Britty is my birthday twin, only 29 years younger than me. She wants all of us to get together and grill out. Che wants to make chicken and I will make the baked mac and cheese that I was going to make for Bigsy and then he was found dead 2 days later. We shall do that on the 30th. We want to celebrate Bigsy's life. He really did not want to have anything to do with his son, OZ.

Last night we went to Brit and Oz's for a cookout. My baked mac & cheese was the hit of the party/topic of discussion. Told Brit to take most of it but she did not. Got a message few minutes before midnight that they were out. OMG. I have alot here to eat because Don does not eat leftovers. Not sure when that attitude started. Thank God he does not know what goes in the chili when I make it ~ LOL. It was nice there once Lauren and Dave left after showing up uninvited. They do nothing but argue, complain, and of course know everything and Lauren has to tell us about her pain, etc and if you say something, she has had it worse. I have a job interview tomorrow morning. The one I had just does not work with my disabilities. It is a rehab center for patients who need to go somewhere before they can go home. It is a great place but not when I am hurting more than at my previous job and need my inhaler after taking the trash all the to the back of the building in hot humid weather

Still waiting on the email to fill out for a background check at the Bible Camp I worked at for 12 years and ended job about 12 years ago. I have to meet with the "Camp Chef" tomorrow morning. She already has some tasks for me to do and I have not even had my background check done. My job Coordinator wanted to meet with me today and I said it was not needed. I won't know anything until Thursday (and I have 2 people waiting on the outcome of the Camp position, to see if I can work my schedule around to also work at one of those 2 places~one is phone interview and the other I already had an interview but did not get the position I applied for but offered me 2 other part time positions)

Phils electric came to work on the septic. Seems the blockage was between ours and Juans trailer. Vogel tried to blame it on my dumping grease down the sink I showed him the can I dump my grease in. Then they came inside and unblocked my sink which worked until the guys fixed it and I guess he tried to blame it on the grease because everyone dumps it down the sink. I am not everyone. Had to go to Lutherdale today to fill out papers. I did a few "projects" while I waited. Pastor Tracy was still in a meeting at noon, so I got to go home Cathy copied my DL and SS card. I will do paperwork on Wednesday. Pastor Tracy was going to resend the background check papers. She must have had the email wrong. Did not get them, so I will call the camp tomorrow. Sent text messages back & forth with my job coordinator and left a voice mail for my DVR counselor. Ran to town so Don could cash in cans for beer. All of a sudden he bought the beer. Most of the cans are from what I bought. Then he grabbed a beer when I got one and said he better hurry so he keeps up with me and not get cheated out of a beer. I am now drinking 7up because I have had enough and my reflux is wild. He is still grabbing beers. Go figure. Got food put away and going to bed soon. He can get as stupid drunk as he wants and I still will not go back outside and sit with him. He gets ticked over the dumbest stuff. Forgot to mention, yesterday I was swatting flies on my computer board. I nailed one and lost the 4 tag. Still can not find the darn thing.

First full day back to work at the Bible camp it almost felt like I never left. The menu is quite different than when I was there. But it was like riding a bicycle, you never forget. Alot has changed at the camp but all for the good. Now they actually cater to all degrees of vegetarian and dietary allergies, etc. It is alot more welcoming.

It has a whirlwind month. Busy working at Lutherdale Bible and Retreat Camp, turned 62 on September 30th, my dream of retiring in May has been crushed because they are already cutting social security. Our friend, Bill, has been having Don help him with painting, caulking, trim board work, etc. He wanted to retire after running his business for over 40 years but his dream is also crushed. He will only be getting about $1000 as well. No one can live on that. We both own mobile homes but that is not even a benefit of savings anymore. Don has been spending his money as fast as he gets it and drunk all the time. Wish I was still working 3rd shift so I don't have to deal with him. I am looking for a 3rd shift job. That is the only time I can be sure I will not be scheduled at Camp. I am all over the board and my days off are not consistent.

I have been cleaning alot of carpets and spot treating them, I have cleaned the entry and kitchen area of the Hope Center many times, and even cleaned both sides of one Cabin and alot of work in the old Retreat Center and the chapel. I guess I can add housekeeping and general maintenance to my resume *LOL*

It is nice to be back at Lutherdale. I feel like I do more dishes than cooking or prep. That is ok. Robin is a real Chef and has been running on her own pretty much all this time. It will take some adjusting for both of us but still love it. We had a luncheon for the travelers from this last bus tour. I did not realize it would be run like a banquet dinner. Hard to explain but alot of extra dishes, tons more dishes. The meatloaf pans were a witch to clean. The theme was "Cracker Barrel" but she made copy cat Road House butter. She also made chicken & dumplings, roasted carrots, mash potatoes & gravy and salad. Apple crisp for dessert. With Whip topping. They were in individual dishes. I did not feel like eating, so I did not eat any of what was made. Our old neighbor Dennis stopped by with his beagle Miss Daisy Mae. She just howled with excitement when she saw me. I miss her. We chatted for awhile and got caught up on the goings in the neighborhood.

Rissa lost her job and back to square one. We stopped by there on Sunday Morning to drop off stuff she needed (food wise) to get her through until the 3rd. Aurora was cranky. She is getting back teeth now. She now officially has more teeth than Don
