This form is for families in Connecticut to request free books for their children. We do not provide books out of state.

Some sites in Connecticut partner with Read to Grow to provide a Book Place. However, due to Covid-19, many of these sites are temporarily closed.

On our Find Your Book Place page, you can search for the Book Place nearest you — with details on each site — in English or in Spanish. Any family in Connecticut may visit these sites. Along with books, you will find resources for developing children’s language and literacy skills.

Please contact the site to find out if it is open and can provide free books. If the site is not open, or cannot provide books, please complete the Family Book Request below.
