Free DieHard Car Battery at Advanced Auto Parts on February 18, 2024

On February 18th, Advanced Auto Parts stores will be giving away free DieHard car batteries to randomly selected customers in honor of National Battery Day. Additionally, participating stores nationwide will offer free battery testing.

What the article does not tell you (and I found out when I went to my local Auto Zone) is that you actually have to buy a die hard battery Today. Everyone who purchases one will be put into a "lottery pot" so to speak and they will randomly pick one. If the buyer is randomly picked, a form will be sent to them and they will eventurally recieve a visa card for the amount of their purchase of the battery. But hey! We learned where our battery is on our 2006 Equinox LT and that we need a new one.

They had no idea what I was talking about when I called yesterday. Then they say that it was a thing and had no idea what was going on. I think they were hoping I would not come. I almost forgot, but Don reminded me. He had to call his boss to find out what was really going on with this promotion. I guess they just threw it together at the last minute.
