Prove that you have America's most welcoming home from the perspective of your cats, and you can win $5,000 and a party thrown by a celebrity chef or other prizes in Tidy Cats' Search for America's Most Welcoming Home Contest.

Sweepstakes Prizes:
Grand Prize: A Welcoming Home Party that includes $5,000 cash, a visit by celebrity chef guest who will throw a welcome party in the winner's home for up to 10 friends and family members, and a year's supply of Purina Tidy Cats brand cat litter Premium Scoop in the form of coupons. (ARV: $6,682)
Runner-Up Finalist Prize: $500 cash and a year's supply of Purina Tidy Cats cat litter Premium Scoop awarded as coupons. (ARV: $681.87)
Semi-Finalist Prizes (13 - not including finalists): A coupon for a 27 lb. pail of Purina Tidy Cats cat litter. (ARV: $13.99)
Additional Comments:
To enter, submit an essay of 250 words or less written in the voice of one of your cats describing why you have the most welcoming home in America including, from your cat's point of view, examples of how the home is kept tidy, clean, comfortable and/or inviting. You must also include a color photo showcasing yourself and at least one of your cats in your favorite room of your welcoming home. See rules for more details.
15 semi-finalists will be chosen on the basis of appropriateness to Contest theme (40%), quality of essay (35%), and the creativity of the entry (25%).
The semi-finalists will be put up for public vote to choose two finalists. Judges will visit the finalists' homes to create a webisode video and to judge the homes on the basis of Tidiness of home (25%), Cleanliness of home (25%), Comfort of Home (25%), and Inviting Feel of Home (25%). See rules for specifics about each judging element.
Residents of NE and AL must be at least 19 to enter.
