Pinterest??????

Okay I am tossed here. I just seems like there is always another new thing to distract us on the net. First it was email, then MySpace, then Facebook, and so on. It's hard enough for me to keep up with my emails, here and Facebook, yet alone my blog and Twitter!!! Then people got going on Linkedin and now Pinterest, to say the least all the Google+ Circles we can have. Everyone is asking for followers and following in all of these. EEGADS!!! How can anyone possibly keep up?????

So my question is which of these do you really think is necessary and which do you think is a fad?

Of the ones you listed, I'm only on Facebook and LinkedIn and don't really do anything on LinkedIn. MySpace is on it's way out. Don't know anything about the other two.

I have a Pintrest account and used it twice. It hasn't held my interest and I honestly am lost on the benefits of it. Facebook is probably still the strongest social media tool along with Twitter. Those are the two most people have. Google+ is slowly catching on, but I am not a fan of it. I do have a few friends who have setup circles in it. LinkedIn is a more of a marketing tool. It is about connection with professional contacts and building up your business or to find a job. MySpace is essentially done. The creator of it has moved on to Facebook and you can find his account there.
