Description:
Nominate a grade school or high school student who has been doing volunteer work to help their community into Kohl's Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program and that student could win a $50 Kohl's gift card, a $1,000 scholarship, or a $10,000 scholarship plus a $1,000 charitable donation in their name.

Entry Frequency:
Unlimited nominations per person, though each student can only be nominated once.
Sweepstakes Prizes:
National Scholarships (10 - 5 per age group): A $10,000 scholarship for secondary education (a $9,000 scholarship for the national prize, plus a $1,000 scholarship for the regional prize), plus a $1,000 donation to a 501c3 non-profit organization on the winner's behalf. (ARV: $10,000)
Regional Scholarships (over 200 - over 100 per age group): A $1,000 scholarship for secondary education. (ARV: $1,000)
Store Prizes (2 per Kohl's store, 1 per age group): A $50 Kohl's Gift Card. (ARV: $50)
Additional Comments:
To enter, nominate a student between the ages of 6 and 18 who has not yet graduated high school. Nominations should describe how the Student has contributed to the community in a meaningful way by performing volunteer services that helped non-family members in the 12 months before the end of the contest. Students who have already won a Kohl's Cares scholarship are not eligible to win again.
Nominations will be separated into two age groups: 6-12 and 13-18.
Winners will be chosen on the basis of the project, benefits, and outcomes. The students grades and financial situation will not affect their chances of winning.
