I wasn't sure where to post this, I guess this is the right place. I was going to post it in coupons, but I wasn't sure if that was the correct place to put it. Well, I was thinking, for the sites that have printable coupons, I think it would be helpful if the coupon expiration dates were on the thumbnail or somewhere you can see them before you print the coupon. A lot of coupons expire after only a couple of weeks. I live alone, and don't always go the the grocery store every week, so knowing when the coupons expire would help in deciding to print them or not. Now, I have a pet peeve about coupons in general. A company offers a coupon for a certain size of the product, but the company does not have the product in the size stated on the coupon. For instance, Crest offered a coupon for 50 cents off toothpaste that is 4oz or larger. Well, Crest doesn't have toothpaste in 4 oz tubes, not that I could see, the smaller sizes are all 3.5 oz. So, in order to use the coupon, you have to buy a larger size, usually 6 oz is the next size up. Plus, the coupon restricts which types of Crest you can buy. It's all of the more expensive toothpastes they sell. How much good is a coupon like that if you are trying to save money? Unless you use the brands the coupon is good for, you won't be able to use it. Just thinking. :chees:

Welcome to the forum pahunt925! I feel the same way about size restrictions. I get lucky occasionally with the Crest ones. When CVS does an Extra Care Bucks offer on it and the coupon makes it free or nearly free, I use them if I have them. And you are so right about expiration dates! Some are good for a couple of months and some for only a couple of weeks. Maybe some of the coupon sites like coupons.com will get wise and give us that information!
Life, when I asked if this day could get any worse, it was a rhetorical question, NOT a challenge!
thanks for the welcome. I can sometimes use the toothpaste coupons at Walmart if they have it for cheap. I can't believe how much toothpaste costs. It used to be so cheap. that's the same for most health and beauty stuff. I check out the dollar stores first. sometimes they have pretty good products. that's where i ran into the problem with the crest coupon. Dollar Tree takes coupons now, but they check them out close before they redeem them.
