We've had like seven tornadoes in about two weeks.
The one that meat grinded the city of Moore was awful, but the latest tornado that passed through OK last Friday the 31st just got upgraded to an F5 with winds upwards of 290mph and at its largest was 2.6 miles across which made it the largest in recorded world history.
It tore our metal pole basketball out of the ground and just barely missed our cars.
Funnily enough our house was unscathed.
Not so funny is the house we moved out of just a little over a year ago in Moore is no longer there...too weird.
Anyways, glad to be alive and around!
Hurricane season just started so I'll be looking forward to packing up and leaving and running for supplies for the next 6 months.
I'm glad all is well with you right now zopappy.
Because the night is dark ... and full of terrors.
It's rough here in UT-103 yesterday & supposed to be like that for another week !

Here it's in the low 70's, but that's because we've had, and are still having, rain, rain, rain!
Life, when I asked if this day could get any worse, it was a rhetorical question, NOT a challenge!
Lots of rain in ILL-in fact, one of my best friends lost damn near everything cause of flooding
Supposed to hit 103 again today w/ a low of 90 & 105 tomorrow

When it comes to weather, it seems you just can't win. Either you're baking to death or waiting for the flood. I'm lucky in that I live on higher ground, but our little downtown has a really bad habit of flooding.
