It was definitely windy last night and it looks like there may have been rain as well. The wind was strong, it rattled the windows but not the trailer itself.

It reached 62 today around 2:30 pm It has been raining off and on for the last hour or so. It is coming down hard enough that you can hear it on the porch roof and windows. I really don't like it getting dark so darn early.

It was a gloomy day most of the day ~ It was just starting to sprinkle when we walked over to the chapel about 2:45 pm for Wade's Ordination Ceremony. When we came out, it was snowing. As we were walking back to the dining hall, a couple next to me said "Of course we come up north and it is snowing." I told them that We are not up north but then found out they were from Illinois, where Wade got his First Call.
It is still snowing but only settling on vehicles. It is currently 31 with a real feel of 26. Overnite low is now at 27. We brought the onions and squash in from off the porch and put them in the small bedroom. If we get down to 27, you know darn well the real feel will be even lower.
Yesterday it was 20 with a real feel of 14 when I woke up. We got snow on the ground. This morning it was 20 with a real feel of 18. Last time I looked we got up to 41.

The wind was non stop wicked last night. Not sure how cold it got. Had to run to town this morning and then stopped for gas, so took Hwy 12 home. They were spreading salt brine at the intersections and on the bridges. Not sure why. It was 41 out already.
It is currently 48 with a real feel of 44. High for today is 52. Tonite partly cloudy but conditions may be favorable to see the northern lights.
The sun was out and very bright. The wind off the lake was forming white caps on the lake. As I was driving to work, you could see when a gust of wind caught a semi trailer. I kept my distance. I washed some of the outside windows of the dining hall. As soon as the sun started going down, it go real cold real fast and the wind blowing harder.
It is currently a42 with a real feel of 38. Overnight low has been reduced to 29 degrees. Hate to see what the wind chill will be.
I will be in bed before you can view the northern lights between 10 pm - 2am CST

Sun is extremely bright out right now but very cloudy. At least not as windy as it has been.
