Life, when I asked if this day could get any worse, it was a rhetorical question, NOT a challenge!
You sound like us! When we were younger we had two male dogs and two female cats. We referred to them as the boys and the girls! As in "have the boys been out lately?" or "do the girls litter boxes need cleaned?'. LOL! They ARE family! Now we just have one cat, a neutered orange tiger named Fatty or Fatty Baby or Fat Boy or Mama's Boy; he answers to all of them...if he feels like it, he is a cat after all!.
